Who can benefit from the Golden Visa?
The residency authorisation for investors, popularly called the GOLDEN VISA, is a temporary residence which is intended for investors who make an investment in the Spanish State of:
– €2,000,000 in Spanish public debt securities;
– €1,000,000 in shares or equity interests in Spanish limited companies with a real business activity or a bank deposit in Spanish financial institutions.
– €500,000 in real estate capital
Furthermore, apart from the aforementioned investments, you can also access residency in Spanish territory through:
The presentation of a business project, which is supported by a favorable report that guarantees its viability within the criteria established by law.
Be a Highly Qualified Non-EU Professional. You must be a professional with a qualification for a management position or activity for which a higher education qualification is required. It also includes the possibility of accrediting a minimum of three years of professional experience that can be considered comparable to said qualification, related to the activity for which authorization is granted.
Digital Nomad, that is, your entire work is telematic and, therefore, you can develop your profession wherever you are, regardless of your location.

Even if you reside in the State for more than 180 days, you can choose where to pay your personal income taxes.
Visa with a minimum duration of 2 years
The first residence permit will have a duration of at least 2 years, with its relevant renewals of 5 years.

Family reunification
